Leadership Development Internships

The A&F Leadership Development Internships provide a fast-paced on-the-job learning environment for top university students. During the 10 week program, interns will gain exposure to the multi-billion dollar retail industry through Merchandising, Business Analytics, Finance or IT. Interns will be placed in specific areas where they will work with cross-functional teams to fully maximize profitability for our high quality brands. After two weeks of intensive training, interns will quickly take on significant responsibilities, gain exposure to senior management and have the opportunity to make an impact on our business. These highly competitive internships are unique for their entrepreneurial structure and are designed to prepare students for the full-time Leadership Development Programs.

In addition to working hard, interns will experience a summer full of exciting team-building and social activities.

    Run all aspects of a multi-million dollar business, understand and translate fashion trends and work with vendors worldwide to develop the highest quality merchandise.

    Drive the business by planning future product and assortment buys, establishing promotional cadences and strategically distributing product by channel across the world

    Drive the growth and profitability of our major retail brands through strategic forecasting and business analysis in roles such as Real Estate, Store Operations, Planning & Analysis and more.

    Create dynamic technical solutions for our rapidly growing business in areas such as Application Development, Business Intelligence, Infrastructure, eCommerce, Project Management and Data Analytics.

    - Junior working towards a Bachelor's degree
    - Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA
    - Proven leadership experience
    - Ability to thrive in team-based settings

    - Desire to take on the responsibility of running a portion of a multi-billion dollar business
    - Strong communication and presentation skills
